Catching Fire.

The second hunger games, Catching Fire, is of course a film that I couldn't possibly neglect. I watched this last week after great anticipation, and was certainly not let down. I did in fact read all the books, and am a avid fan it has to be said. But I think even if you didn't read the books I really would recommend this. It was a masterpiece in every way. The costumes where amazingly beautiful and extravagant as expected from the vivid descriptions from the book. And despite knowing the entire story line I still found my self reduced to tears at least 4 times during the film, Im not sure wether this is due to the film or just that I have become rather over emotional, but to me it seemed a pretty good sign that this was a fabulous film!

Manny and Lo.

My friend and I just watched this on Netflix. Manny and Lo, it was so so SO good. Super random. This just made it 50 times better. I would highly recommend it, and its perfect for a light hearted and easily amused mood. It stars Scarlett Johansson (as a child...super sweet) and, Aleksa Palladino, Mary Kay Place andDean Silvers.

Wes Anderson.

Ok so Wes Anderson is like one of the most awesome film directors ever...

Meet Wes...

His films are literally like moving art, they are so wacky and unconventional, which is I suppose why I like them so much. He directed Fantastic Mr Fox, Moonrise Kingdom, The Royal Tenenbaums and many more. His latest film is called The Grand Budapest Hotel and it is coming out in March 2014 I believe. And it looks like is going to be awesome. The cast is sick...check out the trailer,

I watched Moonrise Kingdom the other day for the first time, and it is another cracker. The storyline is just so greatly bazar, here is the trailer for that...

Wes also makes short films, one of which I came across about a motor car race, it is worth watching and it is very short, check it out...

So I hope you get a chance to check some of these out. And Enjoy!
